Irene Santoro is an accomplished LEED® Accredited professional and a multi leveled designer in the tri state area. She is the creative inspiration behind this well-established business. Ms. Santoro works alongside of the top architects in states ranging from New York to Florida. For over the past 20 years Irene Santoro has used her background in Interior Design and Sustainability to build one of the most successful interior design firms, Charles Anthony Interiors, LLC.
Highlighted Experience
Irene Santoro is a graduate from The Fashion Institute of Technology in New York. Ms. Santoro opened two successful businesses prior to the opening of Charles Anthony Interiors LLC. Irene’s first business was a successful textile design studio and a European swatch service located in the heart of the New York City fashion district. The second was a retail store offering gifts and home accessories which over a few years transformed itself into an interior design service and construction company called Charles Anthony Interiors LLC and Excel Design & Construction Co. respectively. For over the last twenty years Irene Santoro has worked with individual home owners, new home builders and developers to provide designs that are elegant and sustainable.

Irene Santoro is the founders and owner of Charles Anthony Interiors, LLC, a highly creative and diversified interior design company based out of New York and New Jersey. Charles Anthony Interiors, LLC provide cutting edge designs and awe-inspiring visuals for architects, builders, developers, and home owners. Irene and her team are known for their unique collaboration of design talent, experienced CAD renderers and dedicated craftsmanship. Whether your passion is contemporary, traditional, or color, Charles Anthony Interiors will create a space that is unique, within your budget, and will fulfill and exceed your expectations. Irene Santoro has created a holistic Allergy Free Design™ solution for those who suffer from seasonal or yearlong allergy symptoms. Allergy Free Design™ is a home solution that provides customized design plans for each individual client based upon their specific needs. Ms. Santoro is also currently undergoing a complete redesign of her own beach home in New Jersey; the new design showcases the elements of green design in which Irene Santoro puts into practice in her design firm. Her vision and hope is that her new home will set an example and encourage others to build and be part of the green movement. Irene Santoro is a LEED AP BD&C consultant and instructor for a continuing education program called, Forever Green Training & Sustainable Design; this program hold seminars teach the methodology of green building practices. Ms. Santoro is also an instructor at the Institute of Design & Construction located in Brooklyn New York. She also holds seminars at several colleges in the tri-state area for CE (LU) for Registered Architects, Engineers Urban Planners, Real Estate appraisers and Brokers. Ms. Santoro's course called The Green Real Estate Guide to LEED® Certified Building & Sustainable Design has been approved from the New York State education department. In conjunction with instructing several LEED courses Ms. Santoro has also written several preparatory books that coordinate with the LEED® reference guides. These books include: The Green Building Design & Construction V3, and The Green Associate Plus.
Leadership in the Community
Irene Santoro’s primary focus when designing is to always protect the environment and improve the quality of life for each individual client. Charles Anthony Interiors, LLC is an active member of Staten Island Economic Development Corporation; this non-profit organization and its members thrive to enhance the economy in Staten Island by promoting investments and encouraging development projects to be carried out in an environmentally friendly manner. Irene Santoro is also an active member of the Green and Clean Council in Staten Island. The Green and Clean Council focuses on providing advice for future business regarding sustainable practices; the organization promotes ethical and environmental business practices through the use of networking, philanthropic efforts and community involvement. Irene Santoro uses her knowledge and experience in the design field to provide guidance and support for the businesses in the community surrounding her.
Tatyana Barrett is one of our lead
kitchen designers. She holds degrees from The University of St. Petersburg
in Russia for Accounting and Graphics. Her love and flare for design
in combination with an analytical and methodical mind, puts her abilities
a cut above the rest. She has successfully designed over 150 kitchens
in the tri state area. She is and always will be part of the Charles
Anthony team, but we are proud to announce the grand opening of her
store at 1506 Main St in Port Jefferson, N. Y. At Charles Anthony
Interiors we embrace, and celebrate Tatyanas independence. Such talent
should never go unnoticed.
Excel Design & Construction is
a two generation family owned business. At Excel, we are equipped
to build everything from custom entertainment centers to kitchen and
bath to full renovations or additions onto existing homes. We are
home based in Staten Island NY and Port Jefferson, Long Island ,NY.
We are licensed and insured for light to heavy construction. Irene
Santoro and George & Zura Tabatadze are the owners and project
managers that over see the New York and New Jersey regions. Ralph
Virga is the project manager for Long Island, NY including the Hampton's.
Ralph graduated from New York Tech with a Bachelor degree in architecture
and worked for Bovis International. His background makes him a master
at architectural detail and design.

TM : The Owner & Designers are the most knowledgeable,
and passionate team in the building green business today. Supplying
the highest quality material for L.E.E.D certified buildings, or custom
designs for private residences. Their concern for the elderly and
low income housing has compelled them to design a new product line
that every income bracket can afford. This is not just a company that
provides cabinetry for profit, but a company owned by a man of principal
that believes that everyone should have the opportunity to live a
healthier life. I am so proud and honored to be his representative
for the East Coast.
Robert Ceretti is an accomplished Registered Architect, LEED® AP certified, with over fifteen years of experience in the Planning, Design and Construction of Commercial, Retail, and Residential space. His firm has produced over 100 million square feet of space, and received Design Awards for Excellence, Internationally. His projects include high rise and mixed—use projects in Hong Kong, Singapore and Korea. He has also represented Luxury European Retailers bringing their branded environment throughout North America,
Rob is a passionate advocate for Sustainable Design, in order to be able to contribute to a more efficient, cleaner, healthier environment. As a LEED® AP, he is highly enthusiastic about Energy Efficiency and Building Green and has lectured widely on Green Building Technology and been published in numerous journals.
Mr. Ceretti is a Member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA), United States Green Building Council (USGBC), URBAN GREEN (USGBC/NY) and a Fellow and Past Chairman
of the Retail Design Institute (RDI).
In addition to training and seminars in Sustainable Design, he is the Director of the Mentor Program for LMNOP, a NYC based support organization in the Architecture and Design community.
